MEET TANYA HUNT
Tanya Hunt, M.S.N., A.R.N.P.-C, is certified as a family nurse practitioner who is dedicated to women's healthcare. Her services include well woman gynecological exams, obstetrical and postpartum care, family planning needs, care during perimenopause and menopause, as well as meeting many other health needs of women. She offers a comprehensive integrative approach to healthcare to include women's wellness, health maintenance and promotion, illness prevention, education, and counseling to women of all ages. Tanya has earned both a Bachelors of Science in Nursing with minor in Health Care Administration and a Master's in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. Before working as a nurse practitioner, she worked as a critical care nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit. Tanya is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed to practice through the Florida Board of Nursing. She is also a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Central Florida Advanced Nursing Practice Council. Tanya lives in Oviedo with her husband Gordon and their two children. She also serves as a nurse practitioner volunteer at Shepherd’s Hope Inc, a faith based organization that provides healthcare to the uninsured. She strives to positively affect the lives of women and their families.
